| דְּבַר יְהוָ֣ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָיָ֗ה אֶל מִיכָה֙ הַ/מֹּ֣רַשְׁתִּ֔י בִּ/ימֵ֥י יוֹתָ֛ם אָחָ֥ז יְחִזְקִיָּ֖ה מַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה אֲשֶׁר חָזָ֥ה עַל שֹׁמְר֖וֹן וִ/ירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם | 1 | The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, {and} Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem. | قَوْلُ ٱلرَّبِّ ٱلَّذِي صَارَ إِلَى مِيخَا ٱلْمُورَشْتِيِّ فِي أَيَّامِ يُوثَامَ وَآحَازَ وَحَزَقِيَّا مُلُوكِ يَهُوذَا، ٱلَّذِي رَآهُ عَلَى ٱلسَّامِرَةِ وَأُورُشَلِيمَ: | |
| שִׁמְעוּ֙ עַמִּ֣ים כֻּלָּ֔/ם הַקְשִׁ֖יבִי אֶ֣רֶץ וּ/מְלֹאָ֑/הּ וִ/יהִי֩ אֲדֹנָ֨/י יְהוִ֤ה בָּ/כֶם֙ לְ/עֵ֔ד אֲדֹנָ֖/י מֵ/הֵיכַ֥ל קָדְשֽׁ/וֹ | 2 | Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. {all ye...: Heb. ye people, all of them} {all that...: Heb. the fulness thereof} | اِسْمَعُوا أَيُّهَا ٱلشُّعُوبُ جَمِيعُكُمْ. أَصْغِي أَيَّتُهَا ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِلْؤُهَا. وَلْيَكُنِ ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ شَاهِدًا عَلَيْكُمُ، ٱلسَّيِّدُ مِنْ هَيْكَلِ قُدْسِهِ. | |
| כִּֽי הִנֵּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה יֹצֵ֣א מִ/מְּקוֹמ֑/וֹ וְ/יָרַ֥ד וְ/דָרַ֖ךְ עַל במותי בָּ֥מֳתֵי אָֽרֶץ | 3 | For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth. | فَإِنَّهُ هُوَذَا ٱلرَّبُّ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ مَكَانِهِ وَيَنْزِلُ وَيَمْشِي عَلَى شَوَامِخِ ٱلْأَرْضِ، | |
| וְ/נָמַ֤סּוּ הֶֽ/הָרִים֙ תַּחְתָּ֔י/ו וְ/הָ/עֲמָקִ֖ים יִתְבַּקָּ֑עוּ כַּ/דּוֹנַג֙ מִ/פְּנֵ֣י הָ/אֵ֔שׁ כְּ/מַ֖יִם מֻגָּרִ֥ים בְּ/מוֹרָֽד | 4 | And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, {and} as the waters {that are} poured down a steep place. {a steep...: Heb. a descent} | فَتَذُوبُ ٱلْجِبَالُ تَحْتَهُ، وَتَنْشَقُّ ٱلْوِدْيَانُ كَٱلشَّمْعِ قُدَّامَ ٱلنَّارِ. كَٱلْمَاءِ ٱلْمُنْصَبِّ فِي مُنْحَدَرٍ. | |
| בְּ/פֶ֤שַׁע יַֽעֲקֹב֙ כָּל זֹ֔את וּ/בְ/חַטֹּ֖אות בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל מִֽי פֶ֣שַׁע יַעֲקֹ֗ב הֲ/לוֹא֙ שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן וּ/מִי֙ בָּמ֣וֹת יְהוּדָ֔ה הֲ/ל֖וֹא יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם | 5 | For the transgression of Jacob {is} all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What {is} the transgression of Jacob? {is it} not Samaria? and what {are} the high places of Judah? {are they} not Jerusalem? | كُلُّ هَذَا مِنْ أَجْلِ إِثْمِ يَعْقُوبَ، وَمِنْ أَجْلِ خَطِيَّةِ بَيْتِ إِسْرَائِيلَ. مَا هُوَ ذَنْبُ يَعْقُوبَ؟ أَلَيْسَ هُوَ ٱلسَّامِرَةَ؟ وَمَا هِيَ مُرْتَفَعَاتُ يَهُوذَا؟ أَلَيْسَتْ هِيَ أُورُشَلِيمَ؟ | |
| וְ/שַׂמְתִּ֥י שֹׁמְר֛וֹן לְ/עִ֥י הַ/שָּׂדֶ֖ה לְ/מַטָּ֣עֵי כָ֑רֶם וְ/הִגַּרְתִּ֤י לַ/גַּי֙ אֲבָנֶ֔י/הָ וִ/יסֹדֶ֖י/הָ אֲגַלֶּֽה | 6 | Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, {and} as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof. | «فَأَجْعَلُ ٱلسَّامِرَةَ خَرِبَةً فِي ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ، مَغَارِسَ لِلْكُرُومِ، وَأُلْقِي حِجَارَتَهَا إِلَى ٱلْوَادِي، وَأَكْشِفُ أُسُسَهَا. | |
| וְ/כָל פְּסִילֶ֣י/הָ יֻכַּ֗תּוּ וְ/כָל אֶתְנַנֶּ֨י/הָ֙ יִשָּׂרְפ֣וּ בָ/אֵ֔שׁ וְ/כָל עֲצַבֶּ֖י/הָ אָשִׂ֣ים שְׁמָמָ֑ה כִּ֠י מֵ/אֶתְנַ֤ן זוֹנָה֙ קִבָּ֔צָה וְ/עַד אֶתְנַ֥ן זוֹנָ֖ה יָשֽׁוּבוּ | 7 | And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered {it} of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot. | وَجَمِيعُ تَمَاثِيلِهَا ٱلْمَنْحُوتَةِ تُحَطَّمُ، وَكُلُّ أَعْقَارِهَا تُحْرَقُ بِٱلنَّارِ، وَجَمِيعُ أَصْنَامِهَا أَجْعَلُهَا خَرَابًا، لِأَنَّهَا مِنْ عُقْرِ ٱلزَّانِيَةِ جَمَعَتْهَا وَإِلَى عُقْرِ ٱلزَّانِيَةِ تَعُودُ». | |
| עַל זֹאת֙ אֶסְפְּדָ֣ה וְ/אֵילִ֔ילָה אֵילְכָ֥ה שילל שׁוֹלָ֖ל וְ/עָר֑וֹם אֶעֱשֶׂ֤ה מִסְפֵּד֙ כַּ/תַּנִּ֔ים וְ/אֵ֖בֶל כִּ/בְנ֥וֹת יַעֲנָֽה | 8 | Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls. {owls: Heb. daughters of the owl} | مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ أَنُوحُ وَأُوَلْوِلُ. أَمْشِي حَافِيًا وَعُرْيَانًا. أَصْنَعُ نَحِيبًا كَبَنَاتِ آوَى، وَنَوْحًا كَرِعَالِ ٱلنَّعَامِ. | |
| כִּ֥י אֲנוּשָׁ֖ה מַכּוֹתֶ֑י/הָ כִּי בָ֨אָה֙ עַד יְהוּדָ֔ה נָגַ֛ע עַד שַׁ֥עַר עַמִּ֖/י עַד יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם | 9 | For her wound {is} incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, {even} to Jerusalem. {her...: or, she is grievously sick of her wounds} | لِأَنَّ جِرَاحَاتِهَا عَدِيمَةُ ٱلشِّفَاءِ، لِأَنَّهَا قَدْ أَتَتْ إِلَى يَهُوذَا، وَصَلَتْ إِلَى بَابِ شَعْبِي إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ. | |
| בְּ/גַת֙ אַל תַּגִּ֔ידוּ בָּכ֖וֹ אַל תִּבְכּ֑וּ בְּ/בֵ֣ית לְעַפְרָ֔ה עָפָ֖ר התפלשתי הִתְפַּלָּֽשִׁי | 10 | Declare ye {it} not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust. {Aphrah: that is, Dust} | لَا تُخْبِرُوا فِي جَتَّ، لَا تَبْكُوا فِي عَكَّاءَ. تَمَرَّغِي فِي ٱلتُّرَابِ فِي بَيْتِ عَفْرَةَ. | |
| עִבְרִ֥י לָ/כֶ֛ם יוֹשֶׁ֥בֶת שָׁפִ֖יר עֶרְיָה בֹ֑שֶׁת לֹ֤א יָֽצְאָה֙ יוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת צַֽאֲנָ֔ן מִסְפַּד֙ בֵּ֣ית הָאֵ֔צֶל יִקַּ֥ח מִ/כֶּ֖ם עֶמְדָּתֽ/וֹ | 11 | Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing. {thou...: or, thou that dwellest fairly} {inhabitant: Heb. inhabitress} {Zaanan: or, The country of flocks} {Bethezel: or, A place near} | اُعْبُرِي يَا سَاكِنَةَ شَافِيرَ عُرْيَانَةً وَخَجِلَةً. ٱلسَّاكِنَةُ فِي صَانَانَ لَا تَخْرُجُ. نَوْحُ بَيْتِ هَأَيْصِلَ يَأْخُذُ عِنْدَكُمْ مَقَامَهُ، | |
| כִּֽי חָ֥לָֽה לְ/ט֖וֹב יוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת מָר֑וֹת כִּֽי יָ֤רַד רָע֙ מֵ/אֵ֣ת יְהוָ֔ה לְ/שַׁ֖עַר יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם | 12 | For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem. {inhabitant: Heb. inhabitress} {waited...: or, was grieved} | لِأَنَّ ٱلسَّاكِنَةَ فِي مَارُوثَ ٱغْتَمَّتْ لِأَجْلِ خَيْرَاتِهَا، لِأَنَّ شَرًّا قَدْ نَزَلَ مِنْ عِنْدِ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَى بَابِ أُورُشَلِيمَ. | |
| רְתֹ֧ם הַ/מֶּרְכָּבָ֛ה לָ/רֶ֖כֶשׁ יוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת לָכִ֑ישׁ רֵאשִׁ֨ית חַטָּ֥את הִיא֙ לְ/בַת צִיּ֔וֹן כִּי בָ֥/ךְ נִמְצְא֖וּ פִּשְׁעֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל | 13 | O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she {is} the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee. {inhabitant: Heb. inhabitress} | شُدِّي ٱلْمَرْكَبَةَ بِٱلْجَوَادِ يَا سَاكِنَةَ لَاخِيشَ، هِيَ أَوَّلُ خَطِيَّةٍ لِٱبْنَةِ صِهْيَوْنَ، لِأَنَّهُ فِيكِ وُجِدَتْ ذُنُوبُ إِسْرَائِيلَ. | |
| לָ/כֵן֙ תִּתְּנִ֣י שִׁלּוּחִ֔ים עַ֖ל מוֹרֶ֣שֶׁת גַּ֑ת בָּתֵּ֤י אַכְזִיב֙ לְ/אַכְזָ֔ב לְ/מַלְכֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל | 14 | Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib {shall be} a lie to the kings of Israel. {to...: or, for Moreshethgath} {Achzib: that is, A lie} | لِذَلِكَ تُعْطِينَ إِطْلَاقًا لِمُورَشَةِ جَتَّ. تَصِيرُ بُيُوتُ أَكْزِيبَ كَاذِبَةً لِمُلُوكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ. | |
| עֹ֗ד הַ/יֹּרֵשׁ֙ אָ֣בִי לָ֔/ךְ יוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת מָֽרֵשָׁ֑ה עַד עֲדֻּלָּ֥ם יָב֖וֹא כְּב֥וֹד יִשְׂרָאֵֽל | 15 | Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel. {inhabitant: Heb. inhabitress} {he...: or, the glory of Israel shall, etc} | آتِي إِلَيْكِ أَيْضًا بِٱلْوَارِثِ يَا سَاكِنَةَ مَرِيشَةَ. يَأْتِي إِلَى عَدُلَّامَ مَجْدُ إِسْرَائِيلَ. | |
| קָרְחִ֣י וָ/גֹ֔זִּי עַל בְּנֵ֖י תַּעֲנוּגָ֑יִ/ךְ הַרְחִ֤בִי קָרְחָתֵ/ךְ֙ כַּ/נֶּ֔שֶׁר כִּ֥י גָל֖וּ מִמֵּֽ/ךְ | 16 | Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee. | كُونِي قَرْعَاءَ وَجُزِّي مِنْ أَجْلِ بَنِي تَنَعُّمِكِ. وَسِّعِي قَرْعَتَكِ كَٱلنَّسْرِ، لِأَنَّهُمْ قَدِ ٱنْتَفَوْا عَنْكِ. |

| ה֧וֹי חֹֽשְׁבֵי אָ֛וֶן וּ/פֹ֥עֲלֵי רָ֖ע עַל מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָ֑/ם בְּ/א֤וֹר הַ/בֹּ֨קֶר֙ יַעֲשׂ֔וּ/הָ כִּ֥י יֶשׁ לְ/אֵ֖ל יָדָֽ/ם | 1 | Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand. | وَيْلٌ لِلْمُفْتَكِرِينَ بِٱلْبُطْلِ، وَٱلصَّانِعِينَ ٱلشَّرَّ عَلَى مَضَاجِعِهِمْ! فِي نُورِ ٱلصَّبَاحِ يَفْعَلُونَهُ لِأَنَّهُ فِي قُدْرَةِ يَدِهِمْ. | |
| וְ/חָמְד֤וּ שָׂדוֹת֙ וְ/גָזָ֔לוּ וּ/בָתִּ֖ים וְ/נָשָׂ֑אוּ וְ/עָֽשְׁקוּ֙ גֶּ֣בֶר וּ/בֵית֔/וֹ וְ/אִ֖ישׁ וְ/נַחֲלָתֽ/וֹ | 2 | And they covet fields, and take {them} by violence; and houses, and take {them} away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage. {oppress: or, defraud} | فَإِنَّهُمْ يَشْتَهُونَ ٱلْحُقُولَ وَيَغْتَصِبُونَهَا، وَٱلْبُيُوتَ وَيَأْخُذُونَهَا، وَيَظْلِمُونَ ٱلرَّجُلَ وَبَيْتَهُ وَٱلْإِنْسَانَ وَمِيرَاثَهُ. | |
| לָ/כֵ֗ן כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה הִנְ/נִ֥י חֹשֵׁ֛ב עַל הַ/מִּשְׁפָּחָ֥ה הַ/זֹּ֖את רָעָ֑ה אֲ֠שֶׁר לֹֽא תָמִ֨ישׁוּ מִ/שָּׁ֜ם צַוְּארֹֽתֵי/כֶ֗ם וְ/לֹ֤א תֵֽלְכוּ֙ רוֹמָ֔ה כִּ֛י עֵ֥ת רָעָ֖ה הִֽיא | 3 | Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time {is} evil. | لِذَلِكَ هَكَذَا قَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ: «هَأَنَذَا أَفْتَكِرُ عَلَى هَذِهِ ٱلْعَشِيرَةِ بِشَرٍّ لَا تُزِيلُونَ مِنْهُ أَعْنَاقَكُمْ، وَلَا تَسْلُكُونَ بِٱلتَّشَامُخِ لِأَنَّهُ زَمَانٌ رَدِيءٌ. | |
| בַּ/יּ֨וֹם הַ/ה֜וּא יִשָּׂ֧א עֲלֵי/כֶ֣ם מָשָׁ֗ל וְ/נָהָ֨ה נְהִ֤י נִֽהְיָה֙ אָמַר֙ שָׁד֣וֹד נְשַׁדֻּ֔נוּ חֵ֥לֶק עַמִּ֖/י יָמִ֑יר אֵ֚יךְ יָמִ֣ישׁ לִ֔/י לְ/שׁוֹבֵ֥ב שָׂדֵ֖י/נוּ יְחַלֵּֽק | 4 | In that day shall {one} take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, {and} say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed {it} from me! turning away he hath divided our fields. {a doleful...: Heb. a lamentation of lamentations} {turning...: or, instead of restoring} | «فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ يُنْطَقُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِهَجْوٍ وَيُرْثَى بِمَرْثَاةٍ، وَيُقَالُ: خَرِبْنَا خَرَابًا. بَدَلَ نَصِيبِ شَعْبِي. كَيْفَ يَنْزِعُهُ عَنِّي؟ يَقْسِمُ لِلْمُرْتَدِّ حُقُولَنَا». | |
| לָ/כֵן֙ לֹֽא יִֽהְיֶ֣ה לְ/ךָ֔ מַשְׁלִ֥יךְ חֶ֖בֶל בְּ/גוֹרָ֑ל בִּ/קְהַ֖ל יְהוָֽה | 5 | Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD. | لِذَلِكَ لَا يَكُونُ لَكَ مَنْ يُلْقِي حَبْلًا فِي نَصِيبٍ بَيْنَ جَمَاعَةِ ٱلرَّبِّ. | |
| אַל תַּטִּ֖פוּ יַטִּיפ֑וּ/ן לֹֽא יַטִּ֣פוּ לָ/אֵ֔לֶּה לֹ֥א יִסַּ֖ג כְּלִמּֽוֹת | 6 | Prophesy ye not, {say they to them that} prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, {that} they shall not take shame. {Prophesy ye...: or, Prophesy not as they prophesy: Heb. Drop, etc} | يَتَنَبَّأُونَ قَائِلِينَ: «لَا تَتَنَبَّأُوا». لَا يَتَنَبَّأُونَ عَنْ هَذِهِ ٱلْأُمُورِ. لَا يَزُولُ ٱلْعَارُ. | |
| הֶ/אָמ֣וּר בֵּֽית יַעֲקֹ֗ב הֲ/קָצַר֙ ר֣וּחַ יְהוָ֔ה אִם אֵ֖לֶּה מַעֲלָלָ֑י/ו הֲ/ל֤וֹא דְבָרַ֨/י יֵיטִ֔יבוּ עִ֖ם הַ/יָּשָׁ֥ר הוֹלֵֽךְ | 7 | O {thou that art} named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? {are} these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly? {straitened: or, shortened?} {uprightly: Heb. upright?} | أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُسَمَّى بَيْتَ يَعْقُوبَ، هَلْ قَصُرَتْ رُوحُ ٱلرَّبِّ؟ أَهَذِهِ أَفْعَالُهُ؟ «أَلَيْسَتْ أَقْوَالِي صَالِحَةً نَحْوَ مَنْ يَسْلُكُ بِٱلِٱسْتِقَامَةِ؟ | |
| וְ/אֶתְמ֗וּל עַמִּ/י֙ לְ/אוֹיֵ֣ב יְקוֹמֵ֔ם מִ/מּ֣וּל שַׂלְמָ֔ה אֶ֖דֶר תַּפְשִׁט֑וּ/ן מֵ/עֹבְרִ֣ים בֶּ֔טַח שׁוּבֵ֖י מִלְחָמָֽה | 8 | Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war. {of late: Heb. yesterday} {with the: Heb. over against a} | وَلَكِنْ بِٱلْأَمْسِ قَامَ شَعْبِي كَعَدُوٍّ. تَنْزِعُونَ ٱلرِّدَاءَ عَنِ ٱلثَّوْبِ مِنَ ٱلْمُجْتَازِينَ بِٱلطُّمَأْنِينَةِ، وَمِنَ ٱلرَّاجِعِينَ مِنَ ٱلْقِتَالِ. | |
| נְשֵׁ֤י עַמִּ/י֙ תְּגָ֣רְשׁ֔וּ/ן מִ/בֵּ֖ית תַּֽעֲנֻגֶ֑י/הָ מֵ/עַל֙ עֹֽלָלֶ֔י/הָ תִּקְח֥וּ הֲדָרִ֖/י לְ/עוֹלָֽם | 9 | The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever. {women: or, wives} | تَطْرُدُونَ نِسَاءَ شَعْبِي مِنْ بَيْتِ تَنَعُّمِهِنَّ. تَأْخُذُونَ عَنْ أَطْفَالِهِنَّ زِينَتِي إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ. | |
| ק֣וּמוּ וּ/לְכ֔וּ כִּ֥י לֹא זֹ֖את הַ/מְּנוּחָ֑ה בַּ/עֲב֥וּר טָמְאָ֛ה תְּחַבֵּ֖ל וְ/חֶ֥בֶל נִמְרָֽץ | 10 | Arise ye, and depart; for this {is} not {your} rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy {you}, even with a sore destruction. | «قُومُوا وَٱذْهَبُوا، لِأَنَّهُ لَيْسَتْ هَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلرَّاحَةَ. مِنْ أَجْلِ نَجَاسَةٍ تُهْلِكُ وَٱلْهَلَاكُ شَدِيدٌ. | |
| לוּ אִ֞ישׁ הֹלֵ֥ךְ ר֨וּחַ֙ וָ/שֶׁ֣קֶר כִּזֵּ֔ב אַטִּ֣ף לְ/ךָ֔ לַ/יַּ֖יִן וְ/לַ/שֵּׁכָ֑ר וְ/הָיָ֥ה מַטִּ֖יף הָ/עָ֥ם הַ/זֶּֽה | 11 | If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, {saying}, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people. {walking...: or, walk with the wind, and lie falsely} | لَوْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ وَهُوَ سَالِكٌ بِٱلرِّيحِ وَٱلْكَذِبِ يَكْذِبُ قَائِلًا: أَتَنَبَّأُ لَكَ عَنِ ٱلْخَمْرِ وَٱلْمُسْكِرِ لَكَانَ هُوَ نَبِيَّ هَذَا ٱلشَّعْبِ! | |
| אָסֹ֨ף אֶאֱסֹ֜ף יַעֲקֹ֣ב כֻּלָּ֗/ךְ קַבֵּ֤ץ אֲקַבֵּץ֙ שְׁאֵרִ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל יַ֥חַד אֲשִׂימֶ֖/נּוּ כְּ/צֹ֣אן בָּצְרָ֑ה כְּ/עֵ֨דֶר֙ בְּ/ת֣וֹךְ הַ/דָּֽבְר֔/וֹ תְּהִימֶ֖נָה מֵ/אָדָֽם | 12 | I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of {the multitude of} men. | «إِنِّي أَجْمَعُ جَمِيعَكَ يَا يَعْقُوبُ. أَضُمُّ بَقِيَّةَ إِسْرَائِيلَ. أَضَعُهُمْ مَعًا كَغَنَمِ ٱلْحَظِيرَةِ، كَقَطِيعٍ فِي وَسَطِ مَرْعَاهُ يَضِجُّ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ. | |
| עָלָ֤ה הַ/פֹּרֵץ֙ לִ/פְנֵי/הֶ֔ם פָּֽרְצוּ֙ וַֽ/יַּעֲבֹ֔רוּ שַׁ֖עַר וַ/יֵּ֣צְאוּ ב֑/וֹ וַ/יַּעֲבֹ֤ר מַלְכָּ/ם֙ לִ/פְנֵי/הֶ֔ם וַ/יהוָ֖ה בְּ/רֹאשָֽׁ/ם | 13 | The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them. | قَدْ صَعِدَ ٱلْفَاتِكُ أَمَامَهُمْ. يَقْتَحِمُونَ وَيَعْبُرُونَ مِنَ ٱلْبَابِ، وَيَخْرُجُونَ مِنْهُ، وَيَجْتَازُ مَلِكُهُمْ أَمَامَهُمْ، وَٱلرَّبُّ فِي رَأْسِهِمْ». |

| וָ/אֹמַ֗ר שִׁמְעוּ נָא֙ רָאשֵׁ֣י יַעֲקֹ֔ב וּ/קְצִינֵ֖י בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל הֲ/ל֣וֹא לָ/כֶ֔ם לָ/דַ֖עַת אֶת הַ/מִּשְׁפָּֽט | 1 | And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; {Is it} not for you to know judgment? | وَقُلْتُ: «ٱسْمَعُوا يَا رُؤَسَاءَ يَعْقُوبَ، وَقُضَاةَ بَيْتِ إِسْرَائِيلَ. أَلَيْسَ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَعْرِفُوا ٱلْحَقَّ؟ | |
| שֹׂ֥נְאֵי ט֖וֹב וְ/אֹ֣הֲבֵי רעה רָ֑ע גֹּזְלֵ֤י עוֹרָ/ם֙ מֵֽ/עֲלֵי/הֶ֔ם וּ/שְׁאֵרָ֖/ם מֵ/עַ֥ל עַצְמוֹתָֽ/ם | 2 | Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones; | ٱلْمُبْغِضِينَ ٱلْخَيْرَ وَٱلْمُحِبِّينَ ٱلشَّرَّ، ٱلنَّازِعِينَ جُلُودَهُمْ عَنْهُمْ، وَلَحْمَهُمْ عَنْ عِظَامِهِمْ. | |
| וַ/אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָכְלוּ֮ שְׁאֵ֣ר עַמִּ/י֒ וְ/עוֹרָ/ם֙ מֵ/עֲלֵי/הֶ֣ם הִפְשִׁ֔יטוּ וְ/אֶת עַצְמֹֽתֵי/הֶ֖ם פִּצֵּ֑חוּ וּ/פָרְשׂוּ֙ כַּ/אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּ/סִּ֔יר וּ/כְ/בָשָׂ֖ר בְּ/ת֥וֹךְ קַלָּֽחַת | 3 | Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron. | وَٱلَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ لَحْمَ شَعْبِي، وَيَكْشُطُونَ جِلْدَهُمْ عَنْهُمْ، وَيُهَشِّمُونَ عِظَامَهُمْ، وَيُشَقِّقُونَ كَمَا فِي ٱلْقِدْرِ، وَكَٱللَّحْمِ فِي وَسَطِ ٱلْمِقْلَى». | |
| אָ֚ז יִזְעֲק֣וּ אֶל יְהוָ֔ה וְ/לֹ֥א יַעֲנֶ֖ה אוֹתָ֑/ם וְ/יַסְתֵּ֨ר פָּנָ֤י/ו מֵ/הֶם֙ בָּ/עֵ֣ת הַ/הִ֔יא כַּ/אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֵרֵ֖עוּ מַעַלְלֵי/הֶֽם | 4 | Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings. | حِينَئِذٍ يَصْرُخُونَ إِلَى ٱلرَّبِّ فَلَا يُجِيبُهُمْ، بَلْ يَسْتُرُ وَجْهَهُ عَنْهُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْوَقْتِ كَمَا أَسَاءُوا أَعْمَالَهُمْ. | |
| כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה עַל הַ/נְּבִיאִ֖ים הַ/מַּתְעִ֣ים אֶת עַמִּ֑/י הַ/נֹּשְׁכִ֤ים בְּ/שִׁנֵּי/הֶם֙ וְ/קָרְא֣וּ שָׁל֔וֹם וַ/אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹא יִתֵּ֣ן עַל פִּי/הֶ֔ם וְ/קִדְּשׁ֥וּ עָלָ֖י/ו מִלְחָמָֽה | 5 | Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him. | هَكَذَا قَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ عَلَى ٱلْأَنْبِيَاءِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُضِلُّونَ شَعْبِي، ٱلَّذِينَ يَنْهَشُونَ بِأَسْنَانِهِمْ، وَيُنَادُونَ: «سَلَامٌ»! وَٱلَّذِي لَا يَجْعَلُ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ شَيْئًا، يَفْتَحُونَ عَلَيْهِ حَرْبًا: | |
| לָ/כֵ֞ן לַ֤יְלָה לָ/כֶם֙ מֵֽ/חָז֔וֹן וְ/חָשְׁכָ֥ה לָ/כֶ֖ם מִ/קְּסֹ֑ם וּ/בָ֤אָה הַ/שֶּׁ֨מֶשׁ֙ עַל הַ/נְּבִיאִ֔ים וְ/קָדַ֥ר עֲלֵי/הֶ֖ם הַ/יּֽוֹם | 6 | Therefore night {shall be} unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them. {that...: vision: Heb. from a vision} {that...: divine: Heb. from divining} | «لِذَلِكَ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ لَيْلَةٌ بِلَا رُؤْيَا. ظَلَامٌ لَكُمْ بِدُونِ عِرَافَةٍ. وَتَغِيبُ ٱلشَّمْسُ عَنِ ٱلْأَنْبِيَاءِ، وَيُظْلِمُ عَلَيْهِمِ ٱلنَّهَارُ. | |
| וּ/בֹ֣שׁוּ הַ/חֹזִ֗ים וְ/חָֽפְרוּ֙ הַ/קֹּ֣סְמִ֔ים וְ/עָט֥וּ עַל שָׂפָ֖ם כֻּלָּ֑/ם כִּ֛י אֵ֥ין מַעֲנֵ֖ה אֱלֹהִֽים | 7 | Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for {there is} no answer of God. {lips: Heb. upper lip} | فَيَخْزَى ٱلرَّاؤُونَ، وَيَخْجَلُ ٱلْعَرَّافُونَ، وَيُغَطُّونَ كُلُّهُمْ شَوَارِبَهُمْ، لِأَنَّهُ لَيْسَ جَوَابٌ مِنَ ٱللهِ». | |
| וְ/אוּלָ֗ם אָנֹכִ֞י מָלֵ֤אתִי כֹ֨חַ֙ אֶת ר֣וּחַ יְהוָ֔ה וּ/מִשְׁפָּ֖ט וּ/גְבוּרָ֑ה לְ/הַגִּ֤יד לְ/יַֽעֲקֹב֙ פִּשְׁע֔/וֹ וּ/לְ/יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל חַטָּאתֽ/וֹ | 8 | But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin. | لَكِنَّنِي أَنَا مَلْآنٌ قُوَّةَ رُوحِ ٱلرَّبِّ وَحَقًّا وَبَأْسًا، لِأُخَبِّرَ يَعْقُوبَ بِذَنْبِهِ وَإِسْرَائِيلَ بِخَطِيَّتِهِ. | |
| שִׁמְעוּ נָ֣א זֹ֗את רָאשֵׁי֙ בֵּ֣ית יַעֲקֹ֔ב וּ/קְצִינֵ֖י בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל הַֽ/מֲתַעֲבִ֣ים מִשְׁפָּ֔ט וְ/אֵ֥ת כָּל הַ/יְשָׁרָ֖ה יְעַקֵּֽשׁוּ | 9 | Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity. | اِسْمَعُوا هَذَا يَا رُؤَسَاءَ بَيْتِ يَعْقُوبَ وَقُضَاةَ بَيْتِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْرَهُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ وَيُعَوِّجُونَ كُلَّ مُسْتَقِيمٍ. | |
| בֹּנֶ֥ה צִיּ֖וֹן בְּ/דָמִ֑ים וִ/ירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם בְּ/עַוְלָֽה | 10 | They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. {blood: Heb. bloods} | ٱلَّذِينَ يَبْنُونَ صِهْيَوْنَ بِٱلدِّمَاءِ، وَأُورُشَلِيمَ بِٱلظُّلْمِ. | |
| רָאשֶׁ֣י/הָ בְּ/שֹׁ֣חַד יִשְׁפֹּ֗טוּ וְ/כֹהֲנֶ֨י/הָ֙ בִּ/מְחִ֣יר יוֹר֔וּ וּ/נְבִיאֶ֖י/הָ בְּ/כֶ֣סֶף יִקְסֹ֑מוּ וְ/עַל יְהוָה֙ יִשָּׁעֵ֣נוּ לֵ/אמֹ֔ר הֲ/ל֤וֹא יְהוָה֙ בְּ/קִרְבֵּ֔/נוּ לֹֽא תָב֥וֹא עָלֵ֖י/נוּ רָעָֽה | 11 | The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, {Is} not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us. {and say: Heb. saying} | رُؤَسَاؤُهَا يَقْضُونَ بِٱلرَّشْوَةِ، وَكَهَنَتُهَا يُعَلِّمُونَ بِٱلْأُجْرَةِ، وَأَنْبِيَاؤُهَا يَعْرِفُونَ بِٱلْفِضَّةِ، وَهُمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ عَلَى ٱلرَّبِّ قَائِلِينَ: «أَلَيْسَ ٱلرَّبُّ فِي وَسَطِنَا؟ لَا يَأْتِي عَلَيْنَا شَرٌّ!». | |
| לָ/כֵן֙ בִּ/גְלַלְ/כֶ֔ם צִיּ֖וֹן שָׂדֶ֣ה תֵֽחָרֵ֑שׁ וִ/ירוּשָׁלִַ֨ם֙ עִיִּ֣ין תִּֽהְיֶ֔ה וְ/הַ֥ר הַ/בַּ֖יִת לְ/בָמ֥וֹת יָֽעַר | 12 | Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed {as} a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest. | لِذَلِكَ بِسَبَبِكُمْ تُفْلَحُ صِهْيَوْنُ كَحَقْلٍ، وَتَصِيرُ أُورُشَلِيمُ خِرَبًا، وَجَبَلُ ٱلْبَيْتِ شَوَامِخَ وَعْرٍ. |

| וְ/הָיָ֣ה בְּ/אַחֲרִ֣ית הַ/יָּמִ֗ים יִ֠הְיֶה הַ֣ר בֵּית יְהוָ֤ה נָכוֹן֙ בְּ/רֹ֣אשׁ הֶ/הָרִ֔ים וְ/נִשָּׂ֥א ה֖וּא מִ/גְּבָע֑וֹת וְ/נָהֲר֥וּ עָלָ֖י/ו עַמִּֽים | 1 | But in the last days it shall come to pass, {that} the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. | وَيَكُونُ فِي آخِرِ ٱلْأَيَّامِ أَنَّ جَبَلَ بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ يَكُونُ ثَابِتًا فِي رَأْسِ ٱلْجِبَالِ، وَيَرْتَفِعُ فَوْقَ ٱلتِّلَالِ، وَتَجْرِي إِلَيْهِ شُعُوبٌ. | |
| וְֽ/הָלְכ֞וּ גּוֹיִ֣ם רַבִּ֗ים וְ/אָֽמְרוּ֙ לְכ֣וּ וְ/נַעֲלֶ֣ה אֶל הַר יְהוָ֗ה וְ/אֶל בֵּית֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יַעֲקֹ֔ב וְ/יוֹרֵ֨/נוּ֙ מִ/דְּרָכָ֔י/ו וְ/נֵלְכָ֖ה בְּ/אֹֽרְחֹתָ֑י/ו כִּ֤י מִ/צִּיּוֹן֙ תֵּצֵ֣א תוֹרָ֔ה וּ/דְבַר יְהוָ֖ה מִ/ירוּשָׁלִָֽם | 2 | And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. | وَتَسِيرُ أُمَمٌ كَثِيرَةٌ وَيَقُولُونَ: «هَلُمَّ نَصْعَدْ إِلَى جَبَلِ ٱلرَّبِّ، وَإِلَى بَيْتِ إِلَهِ يَعْقُوبَ، فَيُعَلِّمَنَا مِنْ طُرُقِهِ، وَنَسْلُكَ فِي سُبُلِهِ». لِأَنَّهُ مِنْ صِهْيَوْنَ تَخْرُجُ ٱلشَّرِيعَةُ، وَمِنْ أُورُشَلِيمَ كَلِمَةُ ٱلرَّبِّ. | |
| וְ/שָׁפַ֗ט בֵּ֚ין עַמִּ֣ים רַבִּ֔ים וְ/הוֹכִ֛יחַ לְ/גוֹיִ֥ם עֲצֻמִ֖ים עַד רָח֑וֹק וְ/כִתְּת֨וּ חַרְבֹתֵי/הֶ֜ם לְ/אִתִּ֗ים וַ/חֲנִיתֹֽתֵי/הֶם֙ לְ/מַזְמֵר֔וֹת לֹֽא יִשְׂא֞וּ גּ֤וֹי אֶל גּוֹי֙ חֶ֔רֶב וְ/לֹא יִלְמְד֥וּ/ן ע֖וֹד מִלְחָמָֽה | 3 | And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. {pruninghooks: or, scythes} | فَيَقْضِي بَيْنَ شُعُوبٍ كَثِيرِينَ. يُنْصِفُ لِأُمَمٍ قَوِيَّةٍ بَعِيدَةٍ، فَيَطْبَعُونَ سُيُوفَهُمْ سِكَكًا، وَرِمَاحَهُمْ مَنَاجِلَ. لَا تَرْفَعُ أُمَّةٌ عَلَى أُمَّةٍ سَيْفًا، وَلَا يَتَعَلَّمُونَ ٱلْحَرْبَ فِي مَا بَعْدُ. | |
| וְ/יָשְׁב֗וּ אִ֣ישׁ תַּ֧חַת גַּפְנ֛/וֹ וְ/תַ֥חַת תְּאֵנָת֖/וֹ וְ/אֵ֣ין מַחֲרִ֑יד כִּי פִ֛י יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת דִּבֵּֽר | 4 | But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make {them} afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken {it}. | بَلْ يَجْلِسُونَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ تَحْتَ كَرْمَتِهِ وَتَحْتَ تِينَتِهِ، وَلَا يَكُونُ مَنْ يُرْعِبُ، لِأَنَّ فَمَ رَبِّ ٱلْجُنُودِ تَكَلَّمَ. | |
| כִּ֚י כָּל הָ֣/עַמִּ֔ים יֵלְכ֕וּ אִ֖ישׁ בְּ/שֵׁ֣ם אֱלֹהָ֑י/ו וַ/אֲנַ֗חְנוּ נֵלֵ֛ךְ בְּ/שֵׁם יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵ֖י/נוּ לְ/עוֹלָ֥ם וָ/עֶֽד | 5 | For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever. | لِأَنَّ جَمِيعَ ٱلشُّعُوبِ يَسْلُكُونَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ بِٱسْمِ إِلَهِهِ، وَنَحْنُ نَسْلُكُ بِٱسْمِ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِنَا إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ وَٱلْأَبَدِ. | |
| בַּ/יּ֨וֹם הַ/ה֜וּא נְאֻם יְהוָ֗ה אֹֽסְפָה֙ הַ/צֹּ֣לֵעָ֔ה וְ/הַ/נִּדָּחָ֖ה אֲקַבֵּ֑צָה וַ/אֲשֶׁ֖ר הֲרֵעֹֽתִי | 6 | In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted; | «فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ، يَقُولُ ٱلرَّبُّ، أَجْمَعُ ٱلظَّالِعَةَ، وَأَضُمُّ ٱلْمَطْرُودَةَ، وَٱلَّتِي أَضْرَرْتُ بِهَا | |
| וְ/שַׂמְתִּ֤י אֶת הַ/צֹּֽלֵעָה֙ לִ/שְׁאֵרִ֔ית וְ/הַ/נַּהֲלָאָ֖ה לְ/ג֣וֹי עָצ֑וּם וּ/מָלַ֨ךְ יְהוָ֤ה עֲלֵי/הֶם֙ בְּ/הַ֣ר צִיּ֔וֹן מֵ/עַתָּ֖ה וְ/עַד עוֹלָֽם | 7 | And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever. | وَأَجْعَلُ ٱلظَّالِعَةَ بَقِيَّةً، وَٱلْمُقْصَاةَ أُمَّةً قَوِيَّةً، وَيَمْلِكُ ٱلرَّبُّ عَلَيْهِمْ فِي جَبَلِ صِهْيَوْنَ مِنَ ٱلْآنَ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ. | |
| וְ/אַתָּ֣ה מִגְדַּל עֵ֗דֶר עֹ֛פֶל בַּת צִיּ֖וֹן עָדֶ֣י/ךָ תֵּאתֶ֑ה וּ/בָאָ֗ה הַ/מֶּמְשָׁלָה֙ הָ/רִ֣אשֹׁנָ֔ה מַמְלֶ֖כֶת לְ/בַ֥ת יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם | 8 | And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem. | وَأَنْتَ يَا بُرْجَ ٱلْقَطِيعِ، أَكَمَةَ بِنْتِ صِهْيَوْنَ إِلَيْكِ يَأْتِي. وَيَجِيءُ ٱلْحُكْمُ ٱلْأَوَّلُ مُلْكُ بِنْتِ أُورُشَلِيمَ». | |
| עַתָּ֕ה לָ֥/מָּה תָרִ֖יעִי רֵ֑עַ הֲ/מֶ֣לֶךְ אֵֽין בָּ֗/ךְ אִֽם יוֹעֲצֵ/ךְ֙ אָבָ֔ד כִּֽי הֶחֱזִיקֵ֥/ךְ חִ֖יל כַּ/יּוֹלֵדָֽה | 9 | Now why dost thou cry out aloud? {is there} no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail. | اَلْآنَ لِمَاذَا تَصْرُخِينَ صُرَاخًا؟ أَلَيْسَ فِيكِ مَلِكٌ، أَمْ هَلَكَ مُشِيرُكِ حَتَّى أَخَذَكِ وَجَعٌ كَٱلْوَالِدَةِ؟ | |
| ח֧וּלִי וָ/גֹ֛חִי בַּת צִיּ֖וֹן כַּ/יּֽוֹלֵדָ֑ה כִּֽי עַתָּה֩ תֵצְאִ֨י מִ/קִּרְיָ֜ה וְ/שָׁכַ֣נְתְּ בַּ/שָּׂדֶ֗ה וּ/בָ֤את עַד בָּבֶל֙ שָׁ֣ם תִּנָּצֵ֔לִי שָׁ֚ם יִגְאָלֵ֣/ךְ יְהוָ֔ה מִ/כַּ֖ף אֹיְבָֽיִ/ךְ | 10 | Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go {even} to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies. | تَلَوَّيِ، ٱدْفَعِي يَا بِنْتَ صِهْيَوْنَ كَٱلْوَالِدَةِ، لِأَنَّكِ ٱلْآنَ تَخْرُجِينَ مِنَ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ، وَتَسْكُنِينَ فِي ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ، وَتَأْتِينَ إِلَى بَابِلَ. هُنَاكَ تُنْقَذِينَ. هُنَاكَ يَفْدِيكِ ٱلرَّبُّ مِنْ يَدِ أَعْدَائِكِ. | |
| וְ/עַתָּ֛ה נֶאֶסְפ֥וּ עָלַ֖יִ/ךְ גּוֹיִ֣ם רַבִּ֑ים הָ/אֹמְרִ֣ים תֶּחֱנָ֔ף וְ/תַ֥חַז בְּ/צִיּ֖וֹן עֵינֵֽי/נוּ | 11 | Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion. | وَٱلْآنَ قَدِ ٱجْتَمَعَتْ عَلَيْكِ أُمَمٌ كَثِيرَةٌ، ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ: «لِتَتَدَنَّسْ وَلْتَتَفَرَّسْ عُيُونُنَا فِي صِهْيَوْنَ». | |
| וְ/הֵ֗מָּה לֹ֤א יָֽדְעוּ֙ מַחְשְׁב֣וֹת יְהוָ֔ה וְ/לֹ֥א הֵבִ֖ינוּ עֲצָת֑/וֹ כִּ֥י קִבְּצָ֖/ם כֶּ/עָמִ֥יר גֹּֽרְנָ/ה | 12 | But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor. | وَهُمْ لَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَفْكَارَ ٱلرَّبِّ وَلَا يَفْهَمُونَ قَصْدَهُ، إِنَّهُ قَدْ جَمَعَهُمْ كَحُزَمٍ إِلَى ٱلْبَيْدَرِ. | |

| וְ/עָמַ֗ד וְ/רָעָה֙ בְּ/עֹ֣ז יְהוָ֔ה בִּ/גְא֕וֹן שֵׁ֖ם יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑י/ו וְ/יָשָׁ֕בוּ כִּֽי עַתָּ֥ה יִגְדַּ֖ל עַד אַפְסֵי אָֽרֶץ | 3 | Therefore will he give them up, until the time {that} she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel. | لِذَلِكَ يُسَلِّمُهُمْ إِلَى حِينَمَا تَكُونُ قَدْ وَلَدَتْ وَالِدَةٌ، ثُمَّ تَرْجِعُ بَقِيَّةُ إِخْوَتِهِ إِلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ. | |
| וְ/הָיָ֥ה זֶ֖ה שָׁל֑וֹם אַשּׁ֣וּר כִּֽי יָב֣וֹא בְ/אַרְצֵ֗/נוּ וְ/כִ֤י יִדְרֹךְ֙ בְּ/אַרְמְנֹתֵ֔י/נוּ וַ/הֲקֵמֹ֤נוּ עָלָי/ו֙ שִׁבְעָ֣ה רֹעִ֔ים וּ/שְׁמֹנָ֖ה נְסִיכֵ֥י אָדָֽם | 4 | And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth. {feed or, rule} | وَيَقِفُ وَيَرْعَى بِقُدْرَةِ ٱلرَّبِّ، بِعَظَمَةِ ٱسْمِ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِهِ، وَيَثْبُتُونَ. لِأَنَّهُ ٱلْآنَ يَتَعَظَّمُ إِلَى أَقَاصِي ٱلْأَرْضِ. | |
| וְ/רָע֞וּ אֶת אֶ֤רֶץ אַשּׁוּר֙ בַּ/חֶ֔רֶב וְ/אֶת אֶ֥רֶץ נִמְרֹ֖ד בִּ/פְתָחֶ֑י/הָ וְ/הִצִּיל֙ מֵֽ/אַשּׁ֔וּר כִּֽי יָב֣וֹא בְ/אַרְצֵ֔/נוּ וְ/כִ֥י יִדְרֹ֖ךְ בִּ/גְבוּלֵֽ/נוּ | 5 | And this {man} shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men. {principal: Heb. princes of} | وَيَكُونُ هَذَا سَلَامًا. إِذَا دَخَلَ أَشُّورُ فِي أَرْضِنَا، وَإِذَا دَاسَ فِي قُصُورِنَا، نُقِيمُ عَلَيْهِ سَبْعَةَ رُعَاةٍ وَثَمَانِيَةً مِنْ أُمَرَاءِ ٱلنَّاسِ، | |

| תָּרֹ֥ם יָדְ/ךָ֖ עַל צָרֶ֑י/ךָ וְ/כָל אֹיְבֶ֖י/ךָ יִכָּרֵֽתוּ | 8 | And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver. {sheep: or, goats} | وَتَكُونُ بَقِيَّةُ يَعْقُوبَ بَيْنَ ٱلْأُمَمِ فِي وَسَطِ شُعُوبٍ كَثِيرِينَ كَٱلْأَسَدِ بَيْنَ وُحُوشِ ٱلْوَعْرِ، كَشِبْلِ ٱلْأَسَدِ بَيْنَ قُطْعَانِ ٱلْغَنَمِ، ٱلَّذِي إِذَا عَبَرَ يَدُوسُ وَيَفْتَرِسُ وَلَيْسَ مَنْ يُنْقِذُ. | |
| וְ/הָיָ֤ה בַ/יּוֹם הַ/הוּא֙ נְאֻם יְהוָ֔ה וְ/הִכְרַתִּ֥י סוּסֶ֖י/ךָ מִ/קִּרְבֶּ֑/ךָ וְ/הַאֲבַדְתִּ֖י מַרְכְּבֹתֶֽי/ךָ | 9 | Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off. | لِتَرْتَفِعْ يَدُكَ عَلَى مُبْغِضِيكَ وَيَنْقَرِضْ كُلُّ أَعْدَائِكَ. | |
| וְ/הִכְרַתִּ֖י עָרֵ֣י אַרְצֶ֑/ךָ וְ/הָרַסְתִּ֖י כָּל מִבְצָרֶֽי/ךָ | 10 | And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots: | «وَيَكُونُ فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ، يَقُولُ ٱلرَّبُّ، أَنِّي أَقْطَعُ خَيْلَكَ مِنْ وَسَطِكَ، وَأُبِيدُ مَرْكَبَاتِكَ. | |
| וְ/הִכְרַתִּ֥י כְשָׁפִ֖ים מִ/יָּדֶ֑/ךָ וּֽ/מְעוֹנְנִ֖ים לֹ֥א יִֽהְיוּ לָֽ/ךְ | 11 | And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds: | وَأَقْطَعُ مُدُنَ أَرْضِكَ، وَأَهْدِمُ كُلَّ حُصُونِكَ. | |
| וְ/הִכְרַתִּ֧י פְסִילֶ֛י/ךָ וּ/מַצֵּבוֹתֶ֖י/ךָ מִ/קִּרְבֶּ֑/ךָ וְ/לֹֽא תִשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֥ה ע֖וֹד לְ/מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָדֶֽי/ךָ | 12 | And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no {more} soothsayers: | وَأَقْطَعُ ٱلسِّحْرَ مِنْ يَدِكَ، وَلَا يَكُونُ لَكَ عَائِفُونَ. | |
| וְ/נָתַשְׁתִּ֥י אֲשֵׁירֶ֖י/ךָ מִ/קִּרְבֶּ֑/ךָ וְ/הִשְׁמַדְתִּ֖י עָרֶֽי/ךָ | 13 | Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands. {standing...: or, statues} | وَأَقْطَعُ تَمَاثِيلَكَ ٱلْمَنْحُوتَةَ وَأَنْصَابَكَ مِنْ وَسَطِكَ، فَلَا تَسْجُدُ لِعَمَلِ يَدَيْكَ فِي مَا بَعْدُ. | |
| וְ/עָשִׂ֜יתִי בְּ/אַ֧ף וּ/בְ/חֵמָ֛ה נָקָ֖ם אֶת הַ/גּוֹיִ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֖ר לֹ֥א שָׁמֵֽעוּ | 14 | And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities. {cities: or, enemies} | وَأَقْلَعُ سَوَارِيَكَ مِنْ وَسَطِكَ وَأُبِيدُ مُدُنَكَ. | |
| 15 | And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard. | وَبِغَضَبٍ وَغَيْظٍ أَنْتَقِمُ مِنَ ٱلْأُمَمِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يَسْمَعُوا». |

| שִׁמְע֤וּ הָרִים֙ אֶת רִ֣יב יְהוָ֔ה וְ/הָ/אֵתָנִ֖ים מֹ֣סְדֵי אָ֑רֶץ כִּ֣י רִ֤יב לַֽ/יהוָה֙ עִם עַמּ֔/וֹ וְ/עִם יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל יִתְוַכָּֽח | 2 | Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD'S controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel. | اِسْمَعِي خُصُومَةَ ٱلرَّبِّ أَيَّتُهَا ٱلْجِبَالُ وَيَا أُسُسَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلدَّائِمَةَ. فَإِنَّ لِلرَّبِّ خُصُومَةً مَعَ شَعْبِهِ وَهُوَ يُحَاكِمُ إِسْرَائِيلَ: | |
| עַמִּ֛/י מֶה עָשִׂ֥יתִי לְ/ךָ֖ וּ/מָ֣ה הֶלְאֵתִ֑י/ךָ עֲנֵ֥ה בִּֽ/י | 3 | O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me. | «يَا شَعْبِي، مَاذَا صَنَعْتُ بِكَ وَبِمَاذَا أَضْجَرْتُكَ؟ ٱشْهَدْ عَلَيَّ! | |

| אֲשֶׁ֤ר עֲשִׁירֶ֨י/הָ֙ מָלְא֣וּ חָמָ֔ס וְ/יֹשְׁבֶ֖י/הָ דִּבְּרוּ שָׁ֑קֶר וּ/לְשׁוֹנָ֖/ם רְמִיָּ֥ה בְּ/פִי/הֶֽם | 12 | For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue {is} deceitful in their mouth. | فَإِنَّ أَغْنِيَاءَهَا مَلْآنُونَ ظُلْمًا، وَسُكَّانَهَا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِٱلْكَذِبِ، وَلِسَانَهُمْ فِي فَمِهِمْ غَاشٌّ. | |

| אַל תַּאֲמִ֣ינוּ בְ/רֵ֔עַ אַֽל תִּבְטְח֖וּ בְּ/אַלּ֑וּף מִ/שֹּׁכֶ֣בֶת חֵיקֶ֔/ךָ שְׁמֹ֖ר פִּתְחֵי פִֽי/ךָ | 5 | Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. | لَا تَأْتَمِنُوا صَاحِبًا. لَا تَثِقُوا بِصَدِيقٍ. ٱحْفَظْ أَبْوَابَ فَمِكَ عَنِ ٱلْمُضْطَجِعَةِ فِي حِضْنِكَ. | |
| כִּֽי בֵן֙ מְנַבֵּ֣ל אָ֔ב בַּ֚ת קָמָ֣ה בְ/אִמָּ֔/הּ כַּלָּ֖ה בַּ/חֲמֹתָ֑/הּ אֹיְבֵ֥י אִ֖ישׁ אַנְשֵׁ֥י בֵיתֽ/וֹ | 6 | For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies {are} the men of his own house. | لِأَنَّ ٱلِٱبْنَ مُسْتَهِينٌ بِٱلْأَبِ، وَٱلْبِنْتَ قَائِمَةٌ عَلَى أُمِّهَا، وَٱلْكَنَّةَ عَلَى حَمَاتِهَا، وَأَعْدَاءُ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ أَهْلُ بَيْتِهِ. | |
| וַ/אֲנִי֙ בַּ/יהוָ֣ה אֲצַפֶּ֔ה אוֹחִ֖ילָה לֵ/אלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׁעִ֑/י יִשְׁמָעֵ֖/נִי אֱלֹהָֽ/י | 7 | Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. | وَلَكِنَّنِي أُرَاقِبُ ٱلرَّبَّ، أَصْبِرُ لِإِلَهِ خَلَاصِي. يَسْمَعُنِي إِلَهِي. | |
| אַֽל תִּשְׂמְחִ֤י אֹיַ֨בְתִּ/י֙ לִ֔/י כִּ֥י נָפַ֖לְתִּי קָ֑מְתִּי כִּֽי אֵשֵׁ֣ב בַּ/חֹ֔שֶׁךְ יְהוָ֖ה א֥וֹר לִֽ/י | 8 | Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD {shall be} a light unto me. | لَا تَشْمَتِي بِي يَا عَدُوَّتِي، إِذَا سَقَطْتُ أَقُومُ. إِذَا جَلَسْتُ فِي ٱلظُّلْمَةِ فَٱلرَّبُّ نُورٌ لِي. | |
| זַ֤עַף יְהוָה֙ אֶשָּׂ֔א כִּ֥י חָטָ֖אתִי ל֑/וֹ עַד֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָרִ֤יב רִיבִ/י֙ וְ/עָשָׂ֣ה מִשְׁפָּטִ֔/י יוֹצִיאֵ֣/נִי לָ/א֔וֹר אֶרְאֶ֖ה בְּ/צִדְקָתֽ/וֹ | 9 | I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, {and} I shall behold his righteousness. | أَحْتَمِلُ غَضَبَ ٱلرَّبِّ لِأَنِّي أَخْطَأْتُ إِلَيْهِ، حَتَّى يُقِيمَ دَعْوَايَ وَيُجْرِيَ حَقِّي. سَيُخْرِجُنِي إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ، سَأَنْظُرُ بِرَّهُ. | |

| י֖וֹם לִ/בְנ֣וֹת גְּדֵרָ֑יִ/ךְ י֥וֹם הַ/ה֖וּא יִרְחַק חֹֽק | 11 | {In} the day that thy walls are to be built, {in} that day shall the decree be far removed. | يَوْمَ بِنَاءِ حِيطَانِكِ، ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ يَبْعُدُ ٱلْمِيعَادُ. | |
| י֥וֹם הוּא֙ וְ/עָדֶ֣י/ךָ יָב֔וֹא לְ/מִנִּ֥י אַשּׁ֖וּר וְ/עָרֵ֣י מָצ֑וֹר וּ/לְ/מִנִּ֤י מָצוֹר֙ וְ/עַד נָהָ֔ר וְ/יָ֥ם מִ/יָּ֖ם וְ/הַ֥ר הָ/הָֽר | 12 | {In} that day {also} he shall come even to thee from Assyria, and {from} the fortified cities, and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and {from} mountain to mountain. {{and from} the fortified cities: or, even to the fortified cities} | هُوَ يَوْمٌ يَأْتُونَ إِلَيْكِ مِنْ أَشُّورَ وَمُدُنِ مِصْرَ، وَمِنْ مِصْرَ إِلَى ٱلنَّهْرِ. وَمِنَ ٱلْبَحْرِ إِلَى ٱلْبَحْرِ. وَمِنَ ٱلْجَبَلِ إِلَى ٱلْجَبَلِ. | |

| רְעֵ֧ה עַמְּ/ךָ֣ בְ/שִׁבְטֶ֗/ךָ צֹ֚אן נַֽחֲלָתֶ֔/ךָ שֹׁכְנִ֣י לְ/בָדָ֔ד יַ֖עַר בְּ/ת֣וֹךְ כַּרְמֶ֑ל יִרְע֥וּ בָשָׁ֛ן וְ/גִלְעָ֖ד כִּ/ימֵ֥י עוֹלָֽם | 14 | Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily {in} the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed {in} Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old. {Feed: or, Rule} | اِرْعَ بِعَصَاكَ شَعْبَكَ غَنَمَ مِيرَاثِكَ، سَاكِنَةً وَحْدَهَا فِي وَعْرٍ فِي وَسَطِ ٱلْكَرْمَلِ. لِتَرْعَ فِي بَاشَانَ وَجِلْعَادَ كَأَيَّامِ ٱلْقِدَمِ. | |
| כִּ/ימֵ֥י צֵאתְ/ךָ֖ מֵ/אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם אַרְאֶ֖/נּוּ נִפְלָאֽוֹת | 15 | According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous {things}. | «كَأَيَّامِ خُرُوجِكَ مِنْ أَرْضِ مِصْرَ أُرِيهِ عَجَائِبَ». | |
| יִרְא֤וּ גוֹיִם֙ וְ/יֵבֹ֔שׁוּ מִ/כֹּ֖ל גְּבֽוּרָתָ֑/ם יָשִׂ֤ימוּ יָד֙ עַל פֶּ֔ה אָזְנֵי/הֶ֖ם תֶּחֱרַֽשְׁנָה | 16 | The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay {their} hand upon {their} mouth, their ears shall be deaf. | يَنْظُرُ ٱلْأُمَمُ وَيَخْجَلُونَ مِنْ كُلِّ بَطْشِهِمْ. يَضَعُونَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَلَى أَفْوَاهِهِمْ، وَتَصُمُّ آذَانُهُمْ. | |
| יְלַחֲכ֤וּ עָפָר֙ כַּ/נָּחָ֔שׁ כְּ/זֹחֲלֵ֣י אֶ֔רֶץ יִרְגְּז֖וּ מִ/מִּסְגְּרֹֽתֵי/הֶ֑ם אֶל יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֵ֨י/נוּ֙ יִפְחָ֔דוּ וְ/יִֽרְא֖וּ מִמֶּֽ/ךָּ | 17 | They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee. {worms: or, creeping things} | يَلْحَسُونَ ٱلتُّرَابَ كَٱلْحَيَّةِ، كَزَوَاحِفِ ٱلْأَرْضِ. يَخْرُجُونَ بِٱلرِّعْدَةِ مِنْ حُصُونِهِمْ، يَأْتُونَ بِٱلرُّعْبِ إِلَى ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِنَا وَيَخَافُونَ مِنْكَ. | |
| מִי אֵ֣ל כָּמ֗וֹ/ךָ נֹשֵׂ֤א עָוֺן֙ וְ/עֹבֵ֣ר עַל פֶּ֔שַׁע לִ/שְׁאֵרִ֖ית נַחֲלָת֑/וֹ לֹא הֶחֱזִ֤יק לָ/עַד֙ אַפּ֔/וֹ כִּֽי חָפֵ֥ץ חֶ֖סֶד הֽוּא | 18 | Who {is} a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth {in} mercy. | مَنْ هُوَ إِلَهٌ مِثْلُكَ غَافِرٌ ٱلْإِثْمَ وَصَافِحٌ عَنِ ٱلذَّنْبِ لِبَقِيَّةِ مِيرَاثِهِ! لَا يَحْفَظُ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ غَضَبَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ يُسَرُّ بِٱلرَّأْفَةِ. | |
| יָשׁ֣וּב יְרַֽחֲמֵ֔/נוּ יִכְבֹּ֖שׁ עֲוֺֽנֹתֵ֑י/נוּ וְ/תַשְׁלִ֛יךְ בִּ/מְצֻל֥וֹת יָ֖ם כָּל חַטֹּאותָֽ/ם | 19 | He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. | يَعُودُ يَرْحَمُنَا، يَدُوسُ آثَامَنَا، وَتُطْرَحُ فِي أَعْمَاقِ ٱلْبَحْرِ جَمِيعُ خَطَايَاهُمْ. | |
| תִּתֵּ֤ן אֱמֶת֙ לְ/יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב חֶ֖סֶד לְ/אַבְרָהָ֑ם אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּ֥עְתָּ לַ/אֲבֹתֵ֖י/נוּ מִ֥/ימֵי קֶֽדֶם | 20 | Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, {and} the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old. | تَصْنَعُ ٱلْأَمَانَةَ لِيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلرَّأْفَةَ لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ، ٱللَّتَيْنِ حَلَفْتَ لِآبَائِنَا مُنْذُ أَيَّامِ ٱلْقِدَمِ. |
